Cantata Program at Victory Baptist

Last evening those of us who sang in the Christmas Cantata shared a program at Victory Baptist. Thanks to all those who came and showed their support! The program went very well, PTL! The folks at Victory did an awesome job of making us feel welcome and then fed us ever-so-well afterwards! :)
At least one member of their church worked at Gulf CI with Dan, so it was nice meeting her.
Also, I have to share. I'm sure most of you noticed the little man who videotaped us. Well, while we were eating he came and talked to me. He was very hard to understand, but he had a great sense of humor. I asked him what his name is and he said, "I forget" and pulled out a business card. :) On it, his title was some type of videographer, so I asked him what he will do with the video he took of us. He said he just might broadcast it all over the world! :) Then seriously told me that he shows them at nursing homes and places where people cannot get out to programs like this. I thought that was very special and I know he is a blessing to others.

Hello and Welcome...

to our church blog. A few things to note:

• We would love for Everyone to feel free to post whenever and whatever you want to post!
• Remember to email for the log in and password. It's very simple. You will go to www.redoakchurch.blogspot.com and click on "Sign In"at the very top right of the page.
• The next screen says "Sign in to use Blogger" and you will enter the appropriate "Username/Email" and "Password" (remember I will email those to you upon request and click 'sign in'.
• You will then come to a screen that says "Dashboard" and under that "Sharing Time" (which is the name of our blog). Below that you will see a blue rectangle that says "New Post"
• Click on that icon ('new post') and type away!
• Remember you will need to type in a title and then type whatever you want in the large white box.
• Also at the bottom (right below where you type) will be a box that says 'Labels for this post:' and a white rectangular box. In that box you can enter the subject of your post (like 'labor day picnic') if you'd like. That is up to you, but please do enter your family name in this box (ie 'Dans', 'Davids', 'Jonas', etc...) This will create a file of sorts called "Labels" which will be on the right side of the blog. Then if someone wants to see what's going on with 'Lonnies' they can click on 'Lonnies' and every post with "Lonnies" in the label will appear in it's own screen. If you play around with it you will see what I mean. :-)
